It tastes like copper,

having lost one's grace,
It feels like defeat and the heart yearns to end,
Broken by chance no design can mend,
Yet it refuses to cease,
to acknowledge fate,
flows in our veins,
makes us obstinate,
having tasted it once,
having once fought,
I ask you again,
